Welcome to the beautiful Waterdown, Ontario

On this 2 level remodel, we started on the main floor by removing the old kitchen and taking the flooring down to the subfloor. In this kitchen, there were two corner windows that took up too much wall space. So we removed, filled in and relocated one of the two windows to a much better area. There was a lot of thought that went into the lighting of this area as it is not a large space, and we wanted to make it feel much larger. The flooring was a nice engineered, full glue down floor. We installed 24×24 tiles at the front foyer that had hints of the same brown from the floor which made the pair perfect.

The first thing you notice in the home has to be the revamped staircase. The old staircase was all painted, including the wood spindles and had a carpet runner down the middle. We removed the carpet, railing and spindles, and sanded down the stairs to reveal the gorgeous texture of the tread. Color matched the tread and railing to the floor and installed black iron spindles to update the entrance.

Once we finished inside the kitchen the house needed some trim and paint updating. We were excited to have the homeowner on board to give their entire home a new paint job. From top to bottom we masked everything off, sprayed the wainscoting, casings and doors, and then rolled all the walls for that new home look.
